Our take
I've been using the Kontrol S2 Mk3 for a while, and it's a solid 2-deck controller with excellent integration into Traktor. The 16 pads are responsive for cue points and loops, and the filter effects sound great. Build quality is good—metal chassis feels durable. The audio interface is robust with multiple outputs and DVS support, which is rare at this price. However, it only has 2 deck controls, so if you need 4-deck mixing, you'll need an additional unit. The price is a bit steep for two decks, but the bundled software and quality justify it. Overall, a reliable choice for Traktor users.
