Our take
I've been using the Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2 for gigs, and it performs reliably. The 16 pads are great for cue points and loops, and the effects section is comprehensive enough for most genres. The 24-bit/96kHz audio quality is excellent, and the build feels professional. I do wish it came with a warranty, but it's a solid investment for serious Traktor users. The only downside is the lack of a built-in power supply—USB power only—so make sure your laptop can handle it.
